Lennon, Sutcliffe Jacaranda murals to be offered (12/8/99) Pieces of murals done by John Lennon and Stuart Sutcliffe originally painted for the Jacaranda will be offered for sale, according to Jackie of Here-There-Everywhere Tours of Liverpool. Her note says:

"Here at The Jacaranda, we will soon be offering Beatle fans the chance to buy something totally unique. If you take a look at our Jac. page on the here-there-everywhere site, you will see pictures of the murals in the Jac. basement by John Lennon & Stuart Sutcliffe. When the Jac was re-opened in 1995, the murals were in a terrible state & had to be repainted. In two cases, the whole murals came away from the wall, & these have been kept in storage ever since. Various size pieces of the paintings have now been restored & framed & will be offered for sale, with prices from approx. 400 dollars upwards, depending on the quality & size of the piece. they will come complete with authentication, history & photographs of the full design. they will form a limited edition of 75."
